PCA Predict Capture+ for Drupal

Create a Capture+ key

All of our services require keys, and Capture+ is no exception. A key will let you set specific security and control usage for each place you use Capture+. You can create a key by navigating to the 'New Service' option in your account menu and selecting 'Capture+'.

Setup new service

You will be presented with four options:

  • Website - Select this if you’ll be using Capture+ within any sort of browser based website or application
  • Salesforce - For use with our SalesForce app
  • Dynamics - For use with our Dynamics app
  • Magento - For use with our Magento app
Where will it be used

Select the 'Website' to move onto the next stage of the setup within your account. Next you'll need to select who will be using Capture+: your customers or your co-workers. Make your choice and click 'Next'.

Who will use it

The coding bit

Your new Capture+ key has been created. This key will act as a unique identifier in your requests to the service. At this point you'll be given the code required to copy and paste into your website as demonstrated by the HTML example on the right of the page.

Copy and paste code

Now all that you will need is a form to put the look-up into. Before you make any changes to any of your pages, you need to make sure that when editing you select the 'Full HTML' option for Text format.

Changing the Text format

For this example we're going to be using a form like this:

    <td><input type="text" id="address_name" size="50" /></td>
	<td><input type="text" id="address_company" size="50" /></td>
    <td>Address Line 1</td>
    <td><input type="text" id="address_line_1" size="50" /></td>
    <td>Address Line 2</td>
    <td><input type="text" id="address_line_2" size="50" /></td>
    <td><input type="text" id="address_city" size="50" /></td>
    <td><input type="text" id="address_county" size="50" /></td>
    <td><input type="text" id="address_postcode" size="50"/></td>
    <td><input type="text" id="address_country" size="50" /></td>

If you already have an address form then you can use that, so long as the individual fields have unique IDs or names (as in the previous example). To then add Capture+ to the page, copy and paste the code generated earlier into the content editor, ensuring you are still in 'Full HTML' mode.

Configure the Capture+ control on your page

Once the generated code is in your page you will need to refresh it to activate the Capture+ setup. The on-page setup will appear automatically from the bottom of the page if you are using the same computer and browser the key was created in. If you are using a different computer/browser it will ask for your verification code which is available from your key settings. Next, the setup will scan your page to find your address fields and match them up automatically; alternatively you can set them manually.

Capture plus match screen

Match your fields to ours; tell Capture+ exactly which fields to populate with what information. You can do this by typing in your field names manually, or clicking the field picker next to the relevant Capture+ field then clicking the form field on screen that you want the data to go into.

Additional settings

Set the field type for each field to make them behave how you want. Decide on which fields you want to activate the Capture+ search and which fields you want to get populated with resulting address data.

Field type options

Set your country field with the country setting to allow it to search and pre-set the country of choice.

Setup will now be complete. Refresh the page in your browser and Capture+ will now be working in your site!

A few keys settings

Now your key is setup, you can alter any key settings. For example, you may only need the searching functionality for certain countries, in which case you can select which countries you would like to be active.

Key settings

If you need to adjust the Capture+ setup at any time you can re-trigger the control from here.

The on-page setup will appear automatically if you are using the same computer and browser the key was created in. Again, if you are using a different computer/browser it will ask for your verification code which is available from your key settings.
